About The Artwork

Watercolors, work on paper. - I titled this work, “Dream Vacation.” I made this work with watercolors on a sheet of Fabriano paper. - The “Dream Vacation,” is a phrase that can lure us away from our present reality. It becomes a type of day dream that we hear and think about in our culture; the ads for a dream vacation immediately suggest a promise of some kind of individual happiness and of fulfillment in life. - My cellular god, or goddess, is floating on a sort of abstract cloud, enjoying the dream.
