VIEW IN MY ROOM
When you are afraid of something. Fear of something specific is transformed into an emotion that is remembered by our brain. Over time, we get used to that particular phobia, but when it's all over, our brain is left with an emotion associated with that particular thing that we no longer want to experience. It is possible that we are not afraid of something anymore, but we are afraid of fear, so that we do not want to experience this emotion again, and simply because of this, we avoid that particular thing that we were afraid of before, we are now used to it, but we still do not dare to approach it, because we are afraid of the fear of not experiencing it. The "Anx-Ray" (Anxious Ray) collection delves into my personal journey through panic attacks, showcasing the emotions and experiences I faced during this challenging period. Originating in 2020 during the COVID quarantine, these panic attacks arose from significant stress in both material and spiritual aspects of my life. Concerns about the well-being of my beloved pets and my own physical health further amplified the turmoil. Through this collection, I aim to foster understanding and empathy for individuals grappling with similar struggles. It invites viewers to connect with the emotions I experienced at that time, promoting a deeper appreciation for the challenges faced by others. The artworks within the collection portray a progression in size, reflecting the evolving nature of my journey. Smaller pieces convey intense pain and turmoil, while larger ones symbolize a shift towards positivity and acceptance. Colors emerge, signifying the path to healing. Notably, one piece features a woman in a blue dress, her smiling face shining amidst dark shadows representing anxieties. It embodies the realization that despite ongoing challenges, she has found happiness by embracing and accepting her struggles. This collection ultimately represents the transformative path towards recovery.
