The size of this actual painting on canvas board is 20 x 24 inches. The dimensions given are of the finished framed work entire. The artist states; "Occasionally I buy flowers to brighten up my studio workspace and perhaps provide the spark to inspire me to create a still life painting. Once, when visiting the local florist to choose an arrangement from the blooms that were available I paused a while in thought. Already in my bunch were beautiful deep purple irises, some wonderful white fragrant fuchsias amid some greenery. "Have you any flowers that are bright yellow?" I asked the shop assistant, "I'd like to paint the bouquet." Clearly alarmed, she exclaimed "DON'T PAINT THEM – YOU'LL KILL THEM!"

Original paintings and drawings, giclée prints and handmade crafts Milton developed a love for art, drawing and making things as a child. He bought himself some oil paints around age 16 and just started playing with paint, experimenting, making mistakes, learning and having fun. Later, he investigated other media, materials and techniques and through this process, developed an ability to view things and express ideas in a wide variety of styles, as can be seen in his current work, which ranges from figurative to abstract. In 2023 The Royal Society of British Artists (RBA) accepted one of Milton's works at their bicentennial exhibition at the Mall Galleries and another of his paintings received an acknowledgement at the New English Art Club (NEAC). Milton currently lives and works from his studio in West London. Milton also organises 'one man shows' at various venues in London each year.
