Gemini Print

“Gemini” is one of 12 pieces that I’m working on for a series I’m calling “Zodiac Energies”. My goal with these pieces is to use various symbols that describe the different energies of the 12 zodiacs; the planets, elements, and houses that they rule. I was inspired by my love of astrology, energetic symbols, and symbolism. “Gemini” is ruled by the planet mercury, is an air sign, and rules the 3rd astrological house of communication and sibling relationships. I positioned the 2 women facing one another represent “the twins” (or siblings) and the duality of Gemini energy. The tattoos on their necks, along with the symbol above them, are the symbolic representation of the element air. There are 3 to represent the 3rd house. The large symbol sitting between them represents the planet Mercury.
