About The Artwork
Gold Cup 2019 Lightness, freedom, being focused on the goal. It was fun to paint this picture in a rough manner and I certainly enjoyed the green mud! Everything flys and floats. Wonderful. Painting Technique: I am painting exclusively with acrylic. The high luminous intensity and flexible way of processing appeal to me very much. Backgrounds are very often smoothed with thickened paint. Depending on a picture’s style I frequently change the texture of individual colours. The quick drying time of acrylic suits me a lot, because I put up to 12 layers of paint on top of each other to get the high intensity of my colours.
