About The Artwork

This is my original painting "Golden Horns" it depicts a colorful rhino with a gold leaf infused horn. This painting is part of my royalty series, which depicts endangered African wildlife painted in dynamic colors, infused with gold-leaf and a purple background. This series aims to showcase the beauty of these creatures, but also illustrate a story about the ivory trade and poaching crisis in Africa. Rhino horn is valued more than gold so that's why I chose to paint the tusks in gold. With my paintings, I wish to show the importance of conversing our wildlife population, but to also create beautiful art that captures the essence of my wildlife subjects.
