This painting is about planting our feet into our surrounding environment, every single day ; Remembering to see, to feel, to smell and to taste the world around us. Too often ruminating our past or mapping out our future, we have somehow neglected our here, our today. This piece originated while overlooking a winter storm on the Mediterranean sea on Corsica island. There is nothing like Mother Nature's spectacle to remind us of the present. Acrylic and oil pastel on high quality canvas with a UV protective varnish finish.
