Alternative reality… Does it exist? Or is it just an illusion? Or a fiction of our imagination? I am sure that everyone in their life came to a certain moment, the moment of choice, and after that we thought: "What if it were different…" "What if I chose…" "What if I were there…" "What if I…", and other millions of similar "what if…". But they are all illusions. Our whole life consists of choice. It's no secret. The only thing, that remains a mystery to us, is where this choice will lead us to, and what will remain an illusion. Variation of choices, its consequences and the idea of parallel reality, the illusion of another choice, these things I have implemented in this work. Intertwined female bodies are symbols of illusions, and only you can choose which one of them is the reality. The black and white gamma clearly emphasizes both the superimposition of shadows on each other and the blurring of boundaries at the same time. After all, this is an ode to feminine perfection. P.S. When I was a teenager my surrenders convinced me that my paintings were just a hobby and I should find more important occupation. After years of finding out what I am, I always returned into thoughts to art creation. I did not paint about 7 years. It was a time of stagnation for me. Sure, my world-view has changed since I was a teenager, but both those days and now I try to express my own thoughts, beliefs and attitudes in works. To shed light on the things, that excite me, and to portray them through the prism of my own imagination. I am most concerned with abstract concepts such as our feelings or experiences. For example, motherhood, intimacy, love, fear, temptation etc. They have a place in our lives. But I want to give forms for them, embodying them in my works.
