About The Artwork

Island of dreams Longing for that island Dreams go ashore in the bright light of the full moon A deserted island off the coast, always unreachable but now seemingly so close in the light of the moon. A unique fusion of fine art photography and painting ! In recent months, the fine art photographer Jacob Berghoef (Denmark) and I have been collaborating in various ways in the creation of new artworks. With this artwork we have taken a new path: I painted on a print of one of Jacob's photographs. The photo is printed on museum quality Hahnemühle Photo Rag. I painted with ink and watercolor. The buyer of this work will receive it from me, signed and with certificate of authenticity. Jacob made his photo at the end of a sunny winter afternoon, just before sunset at the beach of the North Sea, south of the town of Stenbjerg in Denmark.
