About The Artwork

Growing up I’ve always enjoyed the books, and stories my father shared with me about Ancient Egypt. The gold King Tutankhamun mask was one of the many enthralling pieces of art from Ancient Egypt. This acrylic on canvas painting took over two months to paint and showcases the lasting magnificents that is the King Tut mask.

I am a Bay Area-born and raised interdisciplinary artist. At a young age, I developed an affinity for the arts, which is where my inception for the love of the arts began. I enjoy experimenting with various mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, ink, and gouache. My exploration of different mediums results in both analog and digital work. I’ve created paintings, videos, and sculpture-esque works. My art is a form of self-expression, so much of what I create heavily connects to my interest and inner thoughts at the time. Much of my work deals with thematic topics revolving around various things such as culture, self, consciousness, spirituality, and love. The process of creating my art is equally as important to me. Because I work with numerous types of mediums the processes change; however, I maintain consistency through how I choose to create. Once I get inspiration for a new work of art, I go into a planning phase which consists of composition sketches, color choices, and figuring out the correct medium that will properly highlight the work. The next phase is the actual start of making and completing the art.
