About The Artwork
Visiting the river Tigre in Buenos Aires, which opens to the Delta, I watched these beautiful old wooden boats. "Colectiva" means collective or public transport. These wood hulls are based on a Chris Craft design of the 1940's and provide service connecting the islands to the City.
