About The Artwork
An original watercolour painting a branch from an Oak Tree in Summer. The leaves are illuminated by sunlight revealing their delicate translucency, venation and shades of green. The painting refers to the Japanese word Komorebi, or sunlight through trees. Painted in the style of botanical art. This series of paintings was originally part of an art commission by Oona Culley for John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. Signed by the artist.
