The Lotus Dakini is inspired by the Himalayan Thangka Arts and its many personifications of symbolic beings. This Lotus Dakini is surrounded by a beautifully rendered background of tiny blue dots. This gives her body an airy quality. Her pose is that of someone almost being weightless. She is lifted into the sky by the clouds. Thus, she is meant to be able to go from one place to next very swiftly, and while doing so, delivering beautiful gifts, such as flowers.
