About The Artwork
When I lived in Sao Paulo, my street was an array of tall apartment blocks on both sides. The street was quite narrow, so every night I could see who was arriving home from work, who was watching TV and who was eating their dinner! The street lights also created some interesting shadows of the palm trees on the buildings. . . By mixing warm and cool tints and shades of colours from my limited palette of primaries and white, I was able to capture the neighbours that were 'home' and those that were not. . .
