Here is my latest nature, wildlife painting. I call this "Macaw Jungle" I reminds me of times spent in the jungles of Costa Rica. These are majical looking birds! You are privileged to see one in the wild. This is a 10 X 10.5 watercolor, acrylic, ink painting. The painting comes mounted on acid free, Museum Quality, board, also comes with pre-cut mat. ready for customer to frame. Unique one of a kind original painting, wildlife, nature, watercolor painting. The macaw is often a symbol of sacred union and lasting relationships. This idea is rooted in the fact that the macaw forms a pair bond and mates for life. The lifespan of a macaw can reach 80 years. Along with breeding, macaws also share food with their mates and enjoy mutual grooming.

My art is a reflection of things that inspire me, and bring joy to everyday life faith, nature, abstract, portraits. My style is Expressionism, Modern, and figurative. I enjoy painting wildlife, fish, underwater scenes, faith paintings, and angels. When I paint angels I get a sense of peace and serenity. The underwater scenes are inspired by 30 years of scuba. I also paint wildlife for I am out in the Colorado mountains quite often. My other works can be found at my website https://artallegory.com he mediums that I use are Oil, Watercolor, Encaustic, and Pen & Ink. The Mixed Media paintings incorporate things from nature such as petrified wood, lapis, sea shells and other stones. I retain all reproduction rights on images, artwork, and original paintings. You can find some of my paintings on display at the Brighton, Co. "Color of Love" art display at Brighton City Hall Sept -Jan.2020. The Littleton Fine Arts Museum Nov-Dec. 2019, 2020. Artist Statement: Those who speak in spiritual terms routinely refer to God as creator but seldom see ‘creator’ as the literal term for ‘artist’. I am suggesting you take the term ‘creator’ quite literally. You are seeking to forge a creative alliance, artist-to-artist, with the Great Creator God. Personal Statement: I believe we are all stewards of our planet; each individual should do whatever they can to preserve our wildlife, ocean, forests and air. Stand up for your beliefs, and focus on the positive things in life. Life is short, use your time wisely. Love, Laugh, make new friends, and enjoy Art!
