About The Artwork
In a could winter day I believe it was in the first week of January. After visiting the Enzo-ji Temple I was strolling alongside the river. And then I found this charming confectionery shop and in front of it was this even more charming doll. The picture of this doll surrounded by pure white snow, the old umbrella and the cute poster, made it irresistible for me but to draw it. I just stand there and made a sketch so to keep track of the shadows. The magical feeling of that small town and all of its charm.
