About The Artwork
In the north-western part of Katowice, in the Tysiąclecia housing estate, there is Morocco Pond. It is an artificial reservoir from a post-industrial excavation flooded with water. The picturesque view shows the reservoir in the winter season, the frozen water surface reflects the blue sky, and on the horizon you can see delicate housing estate buildings immersed in a delicate fog. Watercolor painting made on Daler Rowney 250gm paper, with Schmincke Horadam paints. The image size is 37.5 x 26.5 cm.
