Bílina - belongs to the ancient cities in the Czech Republic. Every year the administration provides creative projects for artists and sculptors. In June 2020, I had the opportunity to participate in the Bílin plein air painting exhibition. Three amazing and unforgettable days in my life. Rainy weather on the first day did not spoil the creative mood. The plein air participants set up easels on the terraces of the cottages and painted sketches to the sound of the rain. With a cup of coffee and pleasant conversations, the day flew by. We spent the second day at Mírové náměstí. Artists transferred the surrounding environment with their techniques: they drew sketches, painted pictures with oil and watercolor paints. We spent the last day at the spa and at the swimming pool at Kyselka. The cottage by the river Bílina was painted on this day, under the symbol of our city, Mount Bořeň. Oil painting on canvas pasted on a 39 x 29 cm panel. Year 2020. Framed in a wooden frame from a Czech manufacturer, size 46.7 × 36.7 × 2.7 cm. Treated with final varnish. Signed at the bottom of the painting. Ready to hang.
