About The Artwork
I have shown my series "Containment" at several solo shows. It deals with the issues of the forces that are acting on the ocean. Freighters burn bunker fuel and are not regulated so they pollute the water and air at unprecedented rates and are a far greater threat than cars but no one talks about this. I find it very ironic that there is a large "no smoking" sign across the front of each ship yet all they do is send dirty smoke into the atmosphere. Help me bring this issue to light and make these shipping companies subject to laws that will make them burn cleaner fuel.
