Old Sikh Print

The painting depicts an old Sikh in orange robes sitting in the shade of a tree. I drew him from life. He was very old and was like a living embodiment of wisdom as if he survived and remembered all the tragic events that touched the land of Punjab. And his gaze seemed to look beyond this world, and this old man sees what we are not able to see. He embodied the image of an old sage, a guru to whom you can trust your soul, and a person who reads you like an open book and sees what you even hide from yourself. Personally, I am very proud of this artwork - it seems to me that I was able to perfectly convey the wisdom and depth of this man's nature. This picture was painted during my inspiring expedition to India. I bought a canvas and a stretcher from the local market and immediately began to paint. Therefore, when buying a painting, you have a chance to touch the real Indian aesthetics - despite the seeming unpretentiousness of the materials, the painting is stretched on a stretcher and executed perfectly. This painting is coated with acrylic styrene art varnish and is fade-resistant and easy to care for. I will send it carefully packed in a tube or box (on request) with all required documents attached.
