About The Artwork

What/who inspired the work? - the advertisement of Brazil's Museu de Arte de São Paulo Art School, which showed the painterly dissected organs of Salvador Dalí, Vincent Van Gogh, and Pablo Picasso while pinned down like classroom dissection frogs. What do I hope its viewers will feel/think? - This are my painterly organs, done in my own style. I feel its a testament that all of us have our artistic more colorful side of us hidden within, each unique and changing over time. Why did you choose the medium, subject matter, style? - I chose oils to express in a fluid way the connection I want to have with these great artists who also worked with that medium.
