About The Artwork
The inspiration to this piece comes from reading a beautiful book about Henry Moore and his fantastic sculptures. This naked woman in stone I wanted to bring to life. But when I laid the last brushstroke to it, I wasn't satisfied, it lacked something and I brought in an element of surprise. What could make this naked laying woman raise her eyebrows? Why not a ping pong ball bouncing in from nowhere? And she sure did react, I love it. This particular piece has been shown at Brick Lane Gallery in London 2015. I hope you like it just as much as I do.
