About The Artwork
Painting in mono with lots of tonal layers, a light happy complex reflection on life. It is created using a process of adding and taking away colour by using clear water to shift the pigment out to the edges. It is a long process as every layer needs to be completely dry before adding the next. The painting is very detailed with tiny dots over large areas of watercolour washes. I like painting abstracts, so you can see what you want to see in it. I chose pink because it is feminine and soft and I have entered the realm of really honouring, enjoying and celebrating the feminine.
