The Masks of Totaro are mute objects that look at the world with their empty eyes.   Their world is shared with statues, toys, chimeras, books, chess: a pictorial imagery made up of metaphysical presences experienced, which linger suspended in timeless yet contemporary dimensions. These Masks are represented on a scene and, from the stage, they recite dialogues impossible to enclose in the convention of speech. The observer can go on stage and participate in dialogue, as in a psychodrama. Yes, because these Masks refer to a psychoanalytic "reading" of reality, as "characters in search of an author" and lead us into scenarios closely linked to the sphere of the unconscious of each of us, where contradictions are born and combined, in an attempt to find a balance.
