If we could have a brief moment with those we lost. Red and gold for the love and the hope. Acrylic painting. While I was painting the orphaned kangaroo babies hanging in their makeshift pouches (other paintings) I thought of them finding their mothers. I found a photo taken by Shelley Pearson that resonated so deeply with me, it has inspired this painting.
