The work presents a style that references expressionism and process art, with brushstrokes and textures that seem to be the result of a constantly evolving creative process. The tropical color palette used by the artist is another distinctive element of the work. The vibrant and saturated tones allow the viewer to experience the light and darkness of the artist's philosophical wanderings. In "Rituales," Santo Domingo presents a scenario in which a ritual appears to be taking place, with symbolic elements alluding to transformation and rebirth. The work invites the viewer to reflect on their own existence and on the mysteries that surround the human destiny.

My work as a painter is the expression of a chromatic dream where the landscape is experienced as the origin and end of internal and external worlds. In my work, I visualize landscapes as images that come from the unconscious, which do not entirely belong to this reality. Fundamentally, I try to express the dreamlike, the unconscious, the chaotic aspects of life, and the mythical preponderantly over the scientific and philosophical logos. My style is an abstract expressionism that reaches its limit when it takes shape in flowers, birds, mountains, rivers, and leaves, which are an expression of an internal earthquake that reflects a world that is fading away, which I want to warn about with my painting. My brushstrokes create that landscape with undefined blotches with a unique style where I dilute the paint with paper, brush, and very liquid washes where it drips, generating an accident that I control at some point so as not to lose the shape, leading to having a controlled part and an accidental part. In my reflections, I analyze how the artist can move from the abstract to the figurative and vice versa without allowing the pressure to maintain a style as the time demands.
