hello. I pursue a fusion of Eastern and Western painting. Drawing has been most of my life since childhood. I hope everyone enjoys art in everyday life. Nature and religion bring peace of mind. In the East, there is a custom of believing that there is a painting suitable for each place. This is called 'poongsujiri((風水地理)' (geomantic principles: wind and water, land, house geography). People believe that good 'chi' comes from such a picture. 'chi(氣)' means good energy, good spirit. Sunflowers, for example, are believed to bring happiness and wealth. Peonies symbolize wealth. An elephant's long nose symbolizes longevity. Apples are thriving. The lotus flower is a very important flower in Buddhism and represents 'truth'. Beautiful flowers bloom even in mud. It means being born again from sin to purity. 'poongsujiri' is an idea created by reflection on natural conditions and life. The shapes of mountains and waterways are also interpreted by connecting them to human life. The shape of the building is also relevant. If you look at the painting with the concept of 'poongsujiri', you will be able to appreciate it from a new perspective.
