About The Artwork
In my internal explorations, I came to recognise that shadows are an important aspect of life. Shadow does not exist without light and vice versa. its important not to cast away the shadow even if we fear it. It is part of lives natural order. The stronger the light, the bigger the shadow - As we shine more light on unexplored areas of our lives we also come to face the deeper shadows. They are for our growth and have helped us cope with the mechanics of the world. Essentially the are parts of us and once illuminated and accepted they can be integrated into our life. "Negative" shadows become merely an outdated part of ourselves.
