Image is painted wrapped around the edges, no frame is needed. Wired and ready to hang! Summer Blues is part of my popular Oars series I've been building up over the last few years. I painted it to hang at the Artsee Café in Bayfield, Ontario on Lake Huron's shores this August and September as summer was sadly winding down. This is a time off year I struggle with, letting go of summer's amazing days, adventures and lovely weather. I wanted to imbibe a sense of the changing seasons in these paddles and the weathered wood boathouse.
