About The Artwork
Over the years I have created several works depicting orcas. This time I wanted to bring the peaceful, playful side of orcas to the canvas. In this painting, the orca calf is being playful and just enjoying the swim with its mother. All is good and calm, as indicated in the brighter, lighter blues and greens of the surface water. 16 x 20 x 3/4 acrylic on stretched, gallery wrapped canvas with standard stretcher bars. Painted on all sides. Signed front and back. Ready to hang or can be framed. Sealed with matte varnish to protect artwork. Certificate of Authenticity included. Clear, archival, dust resistant packaging included.
