About The Artwork

Before I started drawing elephants, I watched a lot of documentaries about elephants. I imagined myself as an elephant. I have included ethnic African and Indian music. You can feel all this in the energy of this painting, because I used oil paints to create it. Oil paints are alive, there is a lot of information in them, and over the years the power of the aura of this picture will increase. The elephant is a powerful positive symbol. As a high royal animal, it is valued for wisdom and cunning. The elephant, who was the first to tell about the birth of the Buddha, is a symbol of human freedom from the bonds of the world. In Hinduism, the Elephant is the god of literature and wisdom. In ancient China, an elephant is a symbol of intelligence and strength. In the Archaic World, the elephant was a symbol of the god Mercury as a symbol of ancestral wisdom and power. As a long-lived creature. the elephant is a symbol of the defeat of death. In the literature of the Middle Ages, one can find recognition of the virtue of the elephant. The elephant otter is a symbol on paradise pictures and emblems. The elephant was a symbol of the Kingdom of Syam (modern Thailand). In China, they believe that riding an elephant in night dreams means finding happiness.
