About The Artwork
Vacation Daydream 2018 I am going on a cruise in August. I was daydreaming about being Aft Rear on the ship, watching the waves created by the back of the boat. On my last cruise, dolphins would jump through the wake. This time it's to Alaska, where the blue sea meets the turquoise green. I began by using acrylic for the undercoat and then building layers of oil paint onto the surface. The wave has touchable texture.
