The painting depicts houses standing on a water channel in England. As is known, many channels were build in England and Wales between the 1790s and 1810s. This period largely determined the current appearance of the country. I tried to create the most positive pleasant atmosphere of winter. I also managed to add a bit of fabulousness through the use of bright colors. Oil, canvas. Varnished. Signed.

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favourite. Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood. Thank you for visiting my page. Hope you will find something you will like.
