About The Artwork

The beauty and calming effects of water. I created a series of 3, symbolizing some of life's experiences. Water Series #3 is when life gets a little rough. The calm water starts getting tossed around causing small waves and uncertainty. This piece reminds me of some rough waters I've encountered but I knew if I kept my spirit calm and rode out the waves the water would calm it self again. The love for blues and whites when creating and decorating is so peaceful. It connects us with nature, calms the spirit. I love working and experimenting with acrylic fluid paint. It gives me more connection with my abstract creations.

Artist Statement "It seems I always catch my self staring at some shape or listening to a sound. A cloud floating across the blue sky. A green tree landscape with the sun glimmering across the earth below. Nature provides so much. It so intriguing and spontaneous. It is the source of my art. It is the stimulus." Bio Brenda is a watercolor and acrylic paint artist. She started at a very young age drawing. Her parents would get aggravated with her staying up in her bedroom drawing. They thought she was trying to avoid them altogether. But in reality she loved drawing and art. In later years she progressed into watercolor, acrylic painting, contemporary fine art paintings and wood burning. Recently she has embraced acrylic fluid painting. She finds experimenting with new mediums and techniques refreshing.
