A young woman out at her favorite cafe having a cup of coffee with some gummy bears on the side, her favorite of edibles. She's soaking in what seems a bit odd going on around her it's like Welcome to The Twilight Zone. I would say this is my new favorite painting in quite a while. My life has been feeling a lot like the twilight zone recently. Someone on Facebook wrote a poem about my pale horse waiter that I'm including below, enjoy ! SHE SAW A PALE HORSE - poem by David Richardson 2020 She saw Pale Horse, in a cafe one day, in the corner of her eye. Pale green and pallid. Serving pancakes and salad. 21st century horse. The rider’s name of course, was Death. From him flowed famine, and pestilence. Death by the sword, silence.... Over coffee she hears, the rage of wild beasts, crying out for the blood of unborn innocents.
