About The Artwork
The Packard Darrin was a car never to be offered by Packard. Darrin arranged to have the prototype parked outside of a dealers' meeting where they couldn't help but see it. Not long thereafter, Packard came out with three offerings in their 1940 line-up: a sport sedan, sedan, and Convertible Victoria. Darrins were real celebrity cars - Tyrone Power, Errol Flynn, Al Jolson, Ruby Keeler, and Gene Krupa all owned one.
