About The Artwork

Though the bright white cross gives a sort of pop to the baron landscape, it remains a quiet image. I think it prompts reflection, and a range of emotions, from hope to melancholy. More than religion, I think it conveys faith in a general sense...faith in destiny and perhaps the afterlife.

With my first camera at age four, my passion for photography grew with me. A graduate of the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, and a contributor with Getty Images, I appreciate kitsch as much as fine art. Subjects include: nature, animals, landscapes, portraits, reportage, travel, and abstract imagery...there is a lot of inspiration out there! “Photography has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” —Elliott Erwitt
