About The Artwork
In the shadows of the slave forts, fishermen ply their trade at the village of Elmina in Ghana. These fishermen face desperate times as the catches get smaller every year, because of trawler fishing in their traditional fishing grounds. A condition that plagues many old fishing communities around the world. The image resonates with the body of my work, that I call "The Humanscape". Photographers own Limited Edition Prints of 100. 1.
