Tilde Giani Gallino was Professor of Developmental Psychology at the University of Turin (Italy). She has published over two hundred academic articles and monographies on cognitive, psychodynamic, and environmental psychology. Many of her investigations deal with children’s imagination, creativity and drawings, and are related to the development of the Self and personality. Further research concerns the psychology of art, including visual perception and reality, and the meaning of visual art. Tilde Giani Gallino is currently working on the relationship between psychology and photography.
