VIEW IN MY ROOM
This was taken in Paris at midday, during the summer of the pandemic. People were forced to eat on the pavements and also they built stages on the roads so the great tradition of French Dejenuer could continue. In crafting this black and white photograph, I sought to capture the essence of daily life and the poignant solitude that can be found even in the busiest of city streets. The monochrome tones lend a timeless quality, emphasizing textures and light, while conveying a narrative of urban introspection. This piece invites viewers to ponder the quiet moments of reflection amid the hum of metropolitan existence, adding layers of depth and emotion to any space it adorns. The black and white photo will be a limited edition of 20 printed on photo paper, with a 5 cm white border to allow for a signature on the bottom right and a number on the left. It will be sent safely rolled in a tube with a certificate of Authenticity..

. My recent paintings and photographs of Parisian and New York everyday life are inspired by the many summers and winters we have lived in both cities. Art is the highest form of hope ! "It is only the heart that truly sees that which is important.
