About The Artwork
My recent shoot was inspired by the Strong & Soviet housewife, and my grandmother in particular. All props & clothes are vintage and were found at the family's Soviet wardrobes. 'Forgotten favourites' is the story about the new generation, diving into the moments of happiness of their beloved grannies, the attributes and dresses that remember them being careless, wild and grey hair free. This story is about bringing that light of feminine but at the same time heroic ladies through generations. It is a hybrid of past, present and future. Shot with 35mm film.
