Inspired by the idea of soulmates and my latest relationship, I explore the idea of being connected with a person so deeply that you always feel bonded with them even though we no longer exist in each other's life. Soulmates. Do they really exist? Have they ever existed? Or have we created this illusion to feel less lonely in our uniqueness? And if you are lucky enough to have met a soul mate, the chosen one, does that mean you will be missing that person till the next soul mate that comes along? We are trapped in our own creation of this illusion. I believe in soul, but soul mate… We create romance to justify our feelings “forever” “soulmate”, till pain questions our trust that our soul can travel with other souls till they reach the sun and spread away to foreverness. Till we are remade from the same star. for soulmates are stardust spread down on earth in the shape of human bodies that magnetise each other in eternal flow around each other, till we return to where we began. Inside each other, in a star...

Nassia Kapa is a photographer, who has participated in exhibitions in Greece and London, as well as international publications. She is the woman behind nassiakapa.com. Born and raised in Athens, she moved to London in 2013, where she currently lives. Passionate about poetry in words, in feelings, in body language, emotionally lost in opera arias and ballet, drunk in jazz and art. Her work is focused on self projection, and the eternal flow of life that energies human existence. Through her interaction with others and herself, she is recording feelings and patterns that appear in front of her lense, and are crystallized into eternity, as a photograph. Hello, my name is Nassia. I am not a photographer. I just feel, it happens to have a camera around. http://nassiakapa.com/about/
