About The Artwork

This is a linoprint printed with two different inks on rice paper. The name 'Candence' means the 'rhythm of sounds'. It can also be defined as a rhythmic sequence. The repetition of the lines in the print and the overlay of the two inks make it look like an sequence that could be infinite. A sequence of music, of time, of rythm.
