Color Cloud 19 is about being absolutely convinced that something new and good is always just around the corner. It’s something we can count on. Let this remind us of that. The Color Cloud series is an exploration of the visceral experience of color - I’m always pursuing that feeling of being submerged and surrounded by the lush, comforting, energizing vibe color can create. DETAILS: There is a 1.5-2” white border around the image which is included in the total size. ABOUT JESSICA POUNDSTONE Jessica Poundstone lives in Portland, Oregon. Her work has been featured by Anthropologie, Real Simple, SFMOMA, designlovefest & Origin Magazine, and she was named a Top 100 Artist by Saatchi Art. "I believe art is part of a self-care practice that changes the way we see, think & feel - and ultimately changes us! My hope is that my work serves as a visual invitation, a portal, a totem: a way of reminding us of what’s possible, and getting more deeply attuned to the joy, fun, adventure and wisdom that comes with exploring who we are and who we can become."

I’m Jess, an artist living and working in Portland, Oregon. My work is about the way that beautiful images can disrupt and change our habitual ways of thinking and looking — and ultimately change us. My work is very intuitive. It’s informed and inspired by color sensation, minimalism, and experiential “light and space” art movements. I work on each image until I feel everything click into place: that feeling of “rightness” tells me the work is done. I work in series — like chapters in a book or verses in a song. Each one feels like it’s part of a whole that’s always growing and surprising me. My hope is that each piece serves as an invitation, a portal, a totem: a way of getting more deeply attuned to who you are and who you can become. I create my work digitally on a touchscreen with my fingers. The digital techniques I've been developing for a few years are a hybrid of painting, screenprinting and collage. I then print the images using pigment ink on thick,100% cotton fine art paper. Each of my prints is an original work, not a reproduction. The completed prints are completely archival. I’m proud to say my work is up on the walls of collectors in New York, L.A., London, Paris and everywhere in between. Hope you enjoy your time here — and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just want to connect!
