About The Artwork

Vere Imo is a postprocessual artefact of original processing site specific installation Vere Imo (Nika gallery, Prague, 2017).It was originally placed in the mezamin of the Prague underground station Karlovo Náměstí. The ink structure in the cavities of the crystal glass relief are created by slow dripping of the ink on the surface of the uneven glass sheet. The visuality was created on the theme of seeking and recognition of truth in time. Original clear glass relief was difficult to percept on the white background of the exhibition space. The black ink was slowly covering glass surface, make it more visible, but in the same time it was slightly changing its shape. The process was so slow it wasn't easy to recognise it.After the dropping stops the layer of the ink started to dry up and in some points uncover the original shape, when in other places creating thick and hard layer of new relief. Slow process of changes was possibly recognized only by the people, who pass around the exhibition space every day on their way through the underground traffic system. The glass relief it self become an physical evidence of the process - reminder of its message.

I´m glass artist on the start of the journey. My main focus is on kiln cast glass, but I'm working also with different techniques and materials. I'm interested in integration of glass as equivalent to other materials usual in contemporary fine art scene.
